Chocolate Filled Crescents

INGREDIENTS
1 can (8 oz) Pillsbury® refrigerated crescent dinner rolls1/2 cup mini-chocolate chips Powdered sugar, if desired

1 Heat oven to 350°F. Separate dough into 8 triangles. 2 Place tablespoon of chocolate chips on wide end of each triangle. Roll up, starting at shortest side of triangle, rolling to opposite point. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. 3 Bake at 350°F. for 15 to 20 minutes or until golden brown. Sprinkle with powdered sugar.

What you need:
1 pkg. (2-layer size) white cake mix
1 pkg. (4-serving size) JELL-O Orange Flavor Gelatin
2 cups thawed COOL WHIP Whipped Topping

Make It
PREPARE cake mix as directed on package for cupcakes, adding dry gelatin mix to cake mix in bowl. Bake 24 cupcakes as directed on package; cool completely.

SPREAD whipped topping on cupcakes. Refrigerate until ready to serve.

I have a recipe to share with you guys it was soooooooo good.


Marinated Baked Pork Chops:

1 T soy sauce 1 t lemon juice

2 T vegetable oil 2 T brown sugar

1 T Worcestershire sauce 2 T Ketchup

6 pork chops,trimmed

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C)

In a small bowl, thoroughly blend soy sauce,vegetable oil,Worcestershire sauce,Lemon juice,brown sugar and ketchup.

Place pork chops in a medium baking dish and spread with 1/2 the sauce.

Bake pork chops 30 minutes in a preheated oven. Turn, and spread with remaining sauce. Continue baking 30 minutes or until internal temperature of the chops has reached 160 degrees F(70 degrees C).

My hubby just made this tonight and said the batter was so delicious that it took all he had not to drink it in liquid form. So I'm going out on a limb and saying this dessert is as good as it looks. If you love strawberries mixed with cream cheese and whipped cream.... :)

Hey everyone I thought since I promised a friend that I would post this recipe I'd go ahead and do it now. I make these every year since 2004 and the kids insist that it needs to be done now no matter what.


Fudge Cookie Surprise:


One 12 ounce bag of semisweet chocolate chips
1/4 cup butter
One 14-oz can sweetened condensed milk
2 cups all purpose flour
1 tsp. vanilla
approximately 60 Hershey Hugs unwrapped
2 oz white chocolate bar


Preperation:

Heat oven to 350 degrees and in a medium saucepan, combine chocolate chips andf butter. Melt over low heat until smooth. Add condensed milk and mix well. Lightly spoon flour mixture into measuring cup and level off.

In a medium bowl, combine flour,chocolate mixture and vanilla. Mix well. Shape one tablespoon(Use measuring spoon)of dough around each Hug, covering completly. Place one inch apart on an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at350 for 6 to 8 minutes. The cookies should be soft and appear shiny,but they become firm as they cool. Do not overbake. Remove from cookie sheet and cool.

While the cookies are cooling,melt the white-chocolate baking bars according to the directions given on the package. Drizzle over cookies. Store in an airtight container when completely cooled.

*Note*: You may substitute Hershey's Kisses,with or without almonds, or Hershey Hugs with almonds.

Yeild:approximately 4 dozen


These are yummy and if you eat them warm out of the oven they are a googy yummy mess. I'm not a white chocolate fan but love these. :)

I thought I would re post one of my favorite hot chocolate recipes. It's that time of the year again. Enjoy :)


Ingredients:

2 Tbs.white sugar
2 tsp.cocoa powder
1 pinch salt
1 cup milk
1/4 tsp.vanilla

Preparation:

Mix together the sugar,cocoa and salt in a mug. Heat the milk in the microwave(1-1/2 or 2 minutes)or on the stove until hot.
Gradually add the milk to the cocoa mixture,stirring until well blended. Stir in the vanilla.

It seems I'm in a recipe sharing mood lately. This is another of my sons favorite recipe's ever. It's different than toll house and not as sweet and that's why it's my sisters favorite because she sometimes doesn't feel like eating such a sweet cookie. These are a great cookie :)

Soft Amish Chocolate Chip Cookies

1/2 C. Shortening

1 C. Sugar

2 lg Eggs

1/2 C. Milk

2 1/2 C.Flour

1 tsp Baking powder

3/4 tsp Baking Soda (place in milk)

1 12oz bag of chocolate chips


Directions:

Cream shortening and sugar. Add eggs and milk w/soda. Mix together and add baking powder. Gradually add flour and stir well. Stir in chips. Place on greased cookie sheets about 1 t of dough. Bake at 400% until edge is slightly brown. It usually takes 8 minutes.


I guess I just feel like baking when the cool weather hits. I enjoy turning on the oven more... :) I also drag out my Cappuccino maker.

What You Need

1 pkg. (2-layer size) yellow cake mix

1 can (15 oz.) pumpkin, divided

1/2 cup Milk

1/3 cup Oil

4 Eggs

1-1/2 tsp. Pumpkin pie spice, divided

1 pkg. (8 oz.) PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese, softened

1 cup Powdered sugar

1 tub (8 oz.) COOL WHIP Whipped Topping, thawed

1/4 cup Caramel ice cream topping

1/4 cup chopped PLANTERS Pecans

Surprise Bottom Cupcakes

I box of chocolate cake mix as per directions

Filling: 8 oz cream cheese,1/3 cup sugar,1/2 t salt,I egg mix together and add 6 oz chocolate chips.


Mix and drop by teaspoons on batter in cups. Frosting optional....Bake as directed

I frost them with whipped chocolate or whipped cream cheese frosting both are so good. :)

This is one of my family's favorite recipes. I leave out the peanuts and use chocolate chips instead of cranberries. My kids look forward to me making these.


Peanut Pumpkin Cupcakes

1-1/3 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt
1-1/3 cups sugar
1 cup canned pumpkin puree
2 eggs
2 Tbs. peanut or vegetable oil
1/2 cup dried cranberries or semisweet chocolate chips
1 cup chopped roasted peanuts


Preparation:

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease or spray or use paper liners.

Stir together the flour, baking powder, soda, cinnamon and salt, then set aside. In a large mixing bowl, mix the sugar, pumpkin, eggs and oil until thoroughly combined. Add the flour mixture and stir just until dry ingredients are moistened. Stir in the dried cranberries(or chocolate pieces) and half of the peanuts.

Spoon batter into cups. Sprinkle with remaining peanuts. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. cool in pan for 10 minutes. Remove from pan.

Yield 1 dozen.

We like them so much that sometimes I use the whole can of pumpkin and double the recipe.


I have posted this before but with and all the new friends I have made lately I thought I'd re-post this.

Modified very slightly from a recipe found on the kraft foods site.

1 pkg devil's food cake mix
1/2 c peanut butter
4 oz (1/2 pkg) cream cheese
1 egg

Mix everything together in a medium-size bowl with a fork; a mixer just makes a mess. for the record, these ingredients are a bitch to mix and it'll take a while, but it's so worth it. the final product is super crumbly. I usually throw two handfuls of chocolate chips in mine.

Grab a handful of crumbs and squish/roll them into a ball. place it onto an ungreased baking sheet. repeat many times. gently press with a fork, then press again so there's a criss-cross pattern on top (like a peanut butter cookie). sprinkle top with a little bit of sugar.

bake at 375 for about 7 minutes. makes about... 20 cookies, give or take a few.



In the meantime, enjoy! =)

ETA: the recipe posted on the site has been altered from the original recipe we've always used. they now say to add two eggs to make the 'batter' easier to stir, but we were afraid that would change the awesomeness of the end product too much.

Lemon Whippersnappers, lemon crinkles, same thing! This is a formed (ball) cookie rolled in powdered sugar, like chocolate crinkle cookies, only flavored with lemon."
Ingredients:
1 (18.25 ounce) package lemon cake mix
2 cups frozen whipped topping, thawed 1 egg, beaten
1/2 cup confectioners' sugar

Directions:
1. In a large bowl combine cake mix, whipped topping and egg; mix until well combined. Chill the dough several hours or overnight (or freeze dough wrapped in plastic).
2. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
3. Form tablespoons of dough into one inch balls and roll them in the confectioners' sugar. Place the cookies on greased or parchment lined cookie sheet a couple inches apart.
4. Bake 10 to 12 minutes until cookies are set, but not browned. Cool on wire rack.
