Hi everyone! I hope you are all doing wonderful. I finally read the whole Dean Kontz series of Brother Odd they are very odd books.LOL!:D I liked them though. The first one was the best.

I also bought Stand By Me, Bobby and Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. I have wanted these movies for a long time. I only wish that Elijah was in more of Bobby and Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless mind.

I'm having no luck in a job serch, no one is hiring right now. I might need to go back to The Childrens Place and ask for my old job back.

Hugs and Kisses to all I love you guys!

xoxoxo

I looooove Odd Thomas! The first one is by far the best, but Brother Odd was good as well. I'm usually not a Dean Koontz fan but for some reason I gave it a try and I fell in love with it, I like quirky books and characters like that...everyone in the book is a gem :)

Good luck with the job search, I feel your pain!

Good luck in finding a job! I know how hard it can be in this day and age to find a good job that suits you the best. It took me a year to find my current job.

My Dad absolutely loves Dean Koontz, and I love how he does not story board and lets the novel write itself. Not many authors can do that, and it inspires me with my current novel.

Are you writing a novel? Do you publish novels?

It's cool if you do!:D

Yes, I'm actually writing a trilogy. I wanted to have the first novel already done by now and sent off to publishers, but I ended up having to do a major re-write, which entitled adding 5 more additional chapters than my original draft and adding more to the history of the story. I wanted to create my own language as well, so that took a lot of time as well. I've never personally published any novels, I have a couple of poems published, but that's it as far as writing goes. I am part of a writer's group in my state, which has mostly already established and published screen writers, directors and authors, so I've got a lot of support on my end.

Anyway, I did post a small snippet of a chapter I just finished here (http://easterlily41482.livejournal.com/395943.html). I think I posted this before we met each other on lj.

I LOVE Odd Thomas!! One of my favorite Koontz books of all time. Right up there with Watchers and Strangers. The rest of them weren't as good as Odd, but I still liked them.

I don't think I know these books, they sound interesting though, what sort of genre are they?

Much luck on the job hunt, sweetie! *hugs*

I have always observed that it is easier to get a job when you have a job. Go back to the old one, if they'll have you, and start looking from there. It's handy to have money when you embark on a search for pastures new. Good luck! :D xxxx
