I watched The Dark Night tonight it's brilliant!

I loved the movie so much I thought Heath Ledgers performance was perfect and chilling I was disturbed but impressed with his acting he deserves an Oscar for this and unfortunately he's not alive to enjoy his success over this role. I can't believe he's been dead since January. I still miss him and hate that this is his last role forever. Christian Bale was good and he didn't annoy me with his acting and voice like some said it bothered them. I thought the whole movie was excellent. We took our kids to see it but thankfully no one brought young kids with them it's to much for small children.

It got to 105 today and it's still very hot tonight. I'm not looking forward to more of this hot weather. The older I get the more extreme weather bothers me and I love the spring and fall more all the time.

Oh, I'm so looking forward to seeing this now! I've heard a little Oscar buzz for Heath but I wasn't sure if it was just a rumour or if his performance was actually that good. I can't believe it's been so long, either. Wish we could have gotten to experience more of his amazing talent.

I loved it too!! We saw it on IMAX...it was a bit long though but so well done. Heath Ledger was brilliant and it did make me sad in parts where he's up close, thinking of him being gone. Christian Bale was terrific. I have never been a batman person but I really connected with him in this role. He was a gorgeous Bruce Wayne. I love Michael Caine's Alfred and of course Morgan Freeman mesmorizes me the minute he hits the screen. Because we did IMAX we did bring our youngest son who is 8. He got bored towards the end but the violence is really kept off the screen more and you don't see blood. It is too complicated though for kids.

I loved everyone you mentioned Morgan Freeman and Michael Caine are fantastic always and Christian was good only I still think Michael Keaton was the best Bateman ever.

I remember Michael Keaton but I noticed more of a vulnerable edge in this one that I really loved. Made him more human.

If the Academy doesn't award him a posthumous Oscar--and they probably won't, because they're a bunch of joyless old right-wing pukes who worship biopics and think well-crafted comedy is an oxymoron--they should at least do something in his honor. They owe him. He got the shaft for Brokeback Mountain, and that was BS; I defy anyone to name a single better acting performance that year, from anybody.

There was no one who acted better than Heath that year and he should have won only I always thought he'd win one later because he's so good and he'd have time but unfortunatly I was wrong. :(
